The plane landed short while on the crosswind part of the circuit arriving in a field of peas that were chest high. Despite a long search it could not be found, so the aerial photo plane was requested. From the photographs the plane's location was identified and it was retrieved on the following day. During the search, the plane's owner was heard to say “I had looked at lost model alarms, but could not see the point”. |
